Ever since receiving a PDF version of Adam Mansbach’s Go the F to Sleep, I have been wondering, What is it about the proximity of innocent little children and the word fuck that makes adults laugh so hard they wet themselves? Actually, in the accompanying photo, which I shot in a parking lot outside the local organic supermarket, I cannot tell if the owner has made a mental connection between the “Kids First” aspect (the extra fees for these plates apparently go to fight domestic abuse) and the F-Bomb–unlike this guy.
